Commercial lipsticks, tints, and blushes generally only coat the skin, while Aker Fassi stains the skin’s upper layers. This makes it very long-lasting – you can eat, drink, kiss, and the stain will remain the same. It won’t smudge or transfer onto glasses.

Many regular lipsticks and blushes contain synthetic dyes, such as red 7 and red 21, which can lead to irritation, dryness, allergic reactions, and lip darkening over time.
Commercial lip products also need chemical preservatives because they contain water, oils, and emulsifiers. Most also use synthetic fragrances. These can cause lip peeling and contact dermatitis.
Aker Fassi is made from only two natural ingredients – dried poppy petals and dried pomegranate rind. This means: no artificial dyes, no preservatives, no fragrances. It makes Aker Fassi much better for sensitive lips and skin.
How to apply?

When using a finger:
- Wet the fingertip lightly with water.
- Rub the finger on the surface of the pot in small circles.
- Tap onto the lips or cheeks. Start light; it stains fast.
- With the clean fingers, quickly blend the edges.
- Let it dry, then add balm if desired.

- Choose a brush. We recommend using a lip brush for the lips and a dense concealer brush for the cheeks.
- Lightly mist or dampen the brush.
- Swirl it on the surface of the pot.
- Apply in thin layers.
- Blend the edges quickly.
- Let it dry, then add balm if desired.

Pretty color
The color is bright and while there is some room for user error, I found that using a lip brush dipped in water to be the best way of using it. I store it upside down on a pretty dish on the counter.

The color is amazing. I use it on the lips and as blush. You can build the color up or have a slight tint of color. Very universal. I've had mine for a while and I get a lot of compliments. You only need to use a little water to activate and it dried back on its own.
